Guitars

I’ve had a great many guitars in the course of my career and all have been dear to me. So I thought it might be nice to document as many of them as I can here so I can share them with anyone who has an interest in some of my tools of the trade.

Most of my guitars over the last few decades have been handmade by Alan Chapman Guitars. He is a guitar maker located in New England.

This is the guitar I use most often these days. It was handmade by Alan Chapman for me. It has a nice warm, balanced sound.

Below is another Chapman guitar I used to own with one off-center full moon port.

The guitar I am playing below was another Alan Chapman guitar with two quarter-moon ports.

The guitar I am playing below was another Alan Chapman guitar with two half-moon ports. Quite a unique look.

The guitar I am playing below was an Augustine guitar by Frank Haselbacher.

The guitar below was my first classical guitar, a Jose Ramirez. Yes, that’s me at age 15.
