As part of July 4th, 2017 celebrations, Alan Goldspiel performed as the house Spanish guitarist in a recreation of the Mount Vernon room at American Village's Independence Day celebration. Goldspiel performed three, 30-minute programs of Popular 18th Century Hits for the Spanish guitar.
