Convivio’s website describes the conference as such:

“Convivio unites artists, university professors, and professionals from all walks of life for a unique conference experience in a hilltop hamlet beautiful beyond words. We engage in workshops and discussions devoted to the power of creative thought, divergent thinking, and the wonders of cultural discovery. We offer cross-disciplinary lectures covering a wide array subjects including fine art, literature, drama, and film; food and wine; and authentic cultural immersion. As one participant noted, “You’re not a tourist at Convivio . . . you’re Italian for a time.”

Artistic collaboration at its best in Postignano!

The 10-day conference not only provided beautiful views from the medieval hamlet of Castello di Postignano, wonderful gourmet meals, and day trips to Perugia (if you’re thinking chocolate, you would be correct) and Spoleto (best gelato in the world apparently) but it also provided a great deal of camaraderie and collaboration between attendees.
